For the 32nd Week of Ordinary Time - Cycle C

A reading from the gospel of Jesus according to Luke (first reader only)

JESUS ENTERED JERICHO AND WAS WALKING THROUGH THE CITY/

ZACCHEUS, A TAX COLLECTOR AND A WEALTHY MAN, WANTED TO SEE JESUS/

HE WAS SHORT AND COULD NOT SEE BECAUSE OF THE CROWD/

HE RAN AHEAD AND CLIMBED A SYCAMORE TREE/

WHEN JESUS CAME TO THE PLACE, HE LOOKED UP/

HE SAID TO HIM," ZACCHEUS, COME DOWN QUICKLY, FOR I MUST STAY IN YOUR HOUSE TODAY./

ZACCHEUS HURRIED DOWN, AND RECEIVED HIM JOYFULLY./
